Project overview
Superb Electric LLC served as the electrical contractor for Phase 1-3A of the data center campus in Abilene, Texas — a hyperscale data center development with a planned total capacity of 1.2 GW. Superb Electric's scope covered a 106,000-square-foot data center building delivering 25 MW of IT load, completed jointly with three other electrical contractors on that portion of the data center project.
Inside the data center, Superb Electric was responsible for medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) cabling and termination throughout the facility, supporting the buildout of roughly 500 server racks and the full 25 MW of IT load.
Superb Electric completed its data center electrical scope in approximately two and a half months, fielding a 12-electrician crew on site. The data center campus has since progressed into Phase 2, and Superb Electric is currently bidding on that phase, with additional future data center phases anticipated as the campus builds out toward its full 1.2 GW capacity.
